We drive to the small town of Dalyan in the centre of a broad delta, . Kaunos is famous for its rock-cut tombs. These were graves for the kings and important people of the city. Since the paganist people of the area believed in resurrection, they put lots of food, money, jewellery and other valuable items in holes we have a boat trip, which will take us to the Mud baths. Next on our itinerary is the wonderful sandy Iztuzu Beach ( 7 km length ), which is one of the last nesting areas for the Loggerheaded Turtle ( Caretta Caretta ). They are considered endangered species of wild life and therefore, they were taken to the agenda of Since the beginning of time, between May and October, the female turtles come to the beach to lay their eggs, keep checking on them from time to time and finally take their babies to the sea. The tour finishes around 20.30 hrs, with dropping you off at your hotel. |

3rd day |
Our tour starts at 8.00 hrs, when we pick you up from your hotel. On our way, our first stop is near the Bafa Lake. Then we continue our way and Priene is the first on the tour to be seen. , its restoration has been planned by the famous city planner and architect, Hippodamos, who used for the first time the "Grating System" all the constructions were turned to the South in order to benefit a maximum of the day light. Then we drive to Miletos, the home town of Olympic Games, one of the greatest and richest of all the Greek cities. Miletos is the home of ancient philosophers and sages such as Thales ( the father of Mathematics), Hekataios, Anaximender and closer to us Isidorus, the architect of Ayasofia in Istanbul. Miletos is one of the most attractive sites of Turkey, Words are not enough to describe Apollo Temple because of its amazing dimensions. It measured 118 meters by 60 meters, which is slightly larger than a football field. There were 128 finely decorated columns, some of which are 19.50 meters high. It was connected to Miletus with a holy road of 19km. |
4th day |
After pick up from the hotel, we start our journey to Pamukkale, which takes about 3,5 – 4 hours, with break on the way for refreshment. We visit the ruins of Hierapolis – the Theatre, The Temple of Apollo, Christian Basilica, the ancient agora ( market ). This is the largest ancient graveyard in Anatolia with more than 1200 tombs that range in date from the late Hellenistic period to early Christian times. We will then view the calcite terraces of Pamukkale, you will have free time to explore them. |
5th day |
From Bodrum, you travel to Selcuk passing the naturel beautiy Bafa Lake and the ruins of the Temple of Artemis. Continue to Ephesus Museum then up to the House of Virgin Mary located in Bulbul Mountain. After the visit head for the upper gate of Ephesus. By the end of touring Ephesus, return to Bodrum. |
6th day |
We depart from the hotel after breakfast, We visit Bodrum Casstle and underwater archaeology museum, Mausoleum, Myndos gates, Windmills great chanhce for shopping to buy souvenier, leather, jewellery etc. |

TRANSFER BACK TO AIRPORT OR TRANSFER TO THE HOTEL FOR 2.nd. WEEK. |
